3 Things I like in March 2025

Simple words from a simple man.

Each month I give you three things that I really like. Please share the stuff you like with me! I value stuff that helps me do important things. This month that’s play (shoes and TV show) and finances (an app) . #1 Adidas Sambas

These have been my go-to shoe for everything except distance running for about 30 years. These shoes only cost about $70, which is about $20 more than they did in 1995. They are perfect for mountain biking, skating, and soccer. Plus, they are making a comeback as a casual shoe - I’ve seen guys wear them with sport coats. One of my favs!

#2 Extracted TV Show

Now I’m only through Episode 4, so if it takes a turn - don’t come at me! Our family of teen girls and a preteen son all enjoy this show. It combines the ideas of the old Survivor show with family dynamics which is pretty entertaining. It creates some pretty memorable moments! I watch on Hulu.

#3 Empower Mobile App

Since I have teenage kids, I’m in my “how can I pay for that” era. I use this mobile app to link all my accounts and track my finances from one dashboard. I glance at it a couple of times a week when I hear news about the economy. I think you could find it helpful for keeping track of net worth and monthly bills expenditures.
